The Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) is pleased to welcome participants to our award-winning Dr. Tim Ogilvie AVC Vet Camps, taking place July 7 to August 1.

The four one-week camps offer junior and senior high school students a behind-the-scenes peek into the world of veterinary medicine—from doing physical examinations on dogs and horses to learning how to dress like a surgeon and suturing on a silicon suture pad. You will be amazed at what you will see, learn, and do!

National Indigenous Peoples Day Lunch and Learn

To recognize National Indigenous Peoples Day here on campus, IKERAS and the Advisor to the Vice-President Academic and Research on Indigenous Affairs invite you to a lunch and learn on Friday June 20 for an anonymous Q&A from noon to 1pm in the Quad by the TIPI. Enter your question in the box and we will take the time to answer questions you may have been afraid to ask, this is a time to learn! Please bring your lunch and we will provide blueberry cake for dessert! (if rain, it will be held in the foyer of Kelley Memorial Building)

Introducing Dr. Jane Ngobia, ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú’s VP People and Culture

On May 1, 2025, Dr. Jane Ngobia began her new position as Vice-President, People and Culture (VPPC) at ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú with a focus on inclusive leadership, organizational development, and community engagement. The VPPC role encompasses Human Resources (HR); Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Human Rights (EDIHR); and Legal Affairs.
