Join the Music Cognition Lab members at our 5th annual Music and the Mind Maritimes - Access to Music Education Conference for an afternoon of research, dialogue, and community connection focused on music, psychology, and education.

This event brings together researchers, educators, students, and community members to explore topics such as emotion in speech and music, the role of music in adolescence and access to music education.

Dr. Kathleen MacMillan named President-Elect of the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association

The Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) at the ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú (ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú) is proud to share that Dr. Kathleen MacMillan, equine ambulatory veterinarian and Associate Professor, has been named president-elect of the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA). Her appointment was announced at the CVMA’s annual convention held in Victoria, British Columbia, in July.

The ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú is saddened by the recent passing of Dr. Peter Meincke, President Emeritus.

Dr. Meincke was the second president of ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú, serving from 1978 to 1985. He was named President Emeritus in 2001 and a Founder of the University in 2015.
