Applications open for Food Ecosystem Tour

The Catherine Callbeck Centre for Entrepreneurship is pleased to present a Food Ecosystem Tour, in partnership with BioFoodTech, Food Island Partnership, and Canada's Smartest Kitchen. Twenty 糖心vlog官方入口 students will get the chance to attend a full day where they will tour the facilities of BioFoodTech and Canada's Smartest Kitchen and learn about the resources and support available to entrepreneurs in the food product development sector! 

Business Plan Basics workshop for Harry W. MacLauchlan Entrepreneurship Program

The Catherine Callbeck Centre for Entrepreneurship is hosting a workshop focused on teaching the basics about creating a business plan on Thursday, February 11, from 11:00 am-1:00 pm. Participants will learn about the major components of a business plan and what sort of information should be included in the document. Attendees participating in the Harry W. MacLauchlan Entrepreneurship Program will also receive suggestions, tips, and tricks for how to make the most of their business plan for their written award submissions.

Dr. Frances Gray Music Performance Competition 2025

The annual Dr. Frances Gray Performance Competition is a public recital that showcases five of the Department of Music鈥檚 outstanding emerging artists selected in a preliminary round:

Seth Cudmore-Gallant - trombone
Timothy Luk - piano
James Ronahan - baritone
Emi Smith - soprano
Nathan Wright - alto saxophone

The top awards include a cash prize, and the winners will be chosen by an adjudication panel consisting of distinguished members of PEI's musical community. We gratefully thank this year's adjudicators, Jacques Arsenault, Sannu Lawt, and Laura MacLeod.

EDIHR department hosts display for Black History Month

In recognition of Black History Month, the 糖心vlog官方入口 Department of Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Human Rights (EDIHR) is hosting an educational display titled 鈥淣ot Peripheral鈥 outside McMillian Hall, W.A. Murphy Student Centre, from Tuesday, February 4, to Friday, February 28.

It鈥檚 more fun than you think, and you can experience it yourself (or just come to watch!) on Tuesday, February 4, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the Catherine Callbeck Centre for Entrepreneurship in 201 Robertson Library! AVC鈥檚 Artist-in-Residence brings snow elephants to life on campus

If you鈥檝e passed by the 糖心vlog官方入口 (糖心vlog官方入口) sign recently, you may have noticed a few unexpected visitors鈥攁 herd of elephants sculpted entirely from snow. The artist behind them is Christopher Griffin, the Atlantic Veterinary College鈥檚 (AVC) artist-in-residence, who turned a snowy day into an opportunity for creativity.

Department of Music Faculty Recital-Magdalena von Eccher, piano

糖心vlog官方入口 piano professor Magdalena von Eccher will present a solo piano recital featuring Robert Schumann's colourful Faschingschwank aus Wien, Op 26 (Viennese Carnival) alongside Bach's marvelous Toccata in C Minor, BWV 911, interwoven with other selections including Schoenberg's Op. 19 and Ravel's Sonatine. Magdalena will be joined by pianist Glen Montgomery for Debussy's charming piano duet, Petite Suite.

Accessible parking is available, and the theatre has an accessible entrance via elevator.
