Emma MacLean and Ben McFarlane named ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú Panther Source for Sports Athletes of the Week
Every week, ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú Athletics and Recreation recognizes student-athletes for their achievements and contributions to their respective sports. The ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú Panther Source for Sports Athletes of the Week for September 30–October 5 are Emma MacLean (women’s rugby) and Ben McFarlane (men’s hockey).
MacLean is a fifth-year business student from Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia. She was unstoppable in the October 4 matchup against the Saint Mary’s University Huskies, scoring three tries in a dominant 72-0 win.
ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú researchers awarded over $1.7 million in federal funding
Researchers at the ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú have been awarded over $1.7 million in federal funding from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC).
