Goals and Priorities

2025–2026 Presidential Goals 

The ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú Board of Governors and President Rodgers agreed on priorities, goals, and activities for the period June 1, 2025–June 30, 2026.  

  1. Drive the successful launch and execution of ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú’s 2025–2030 Strategic Plan, ensuring measurable progress, accountability, and broad engagement across the campus community.
     
  2. Champion a positive, respectful, and inclusive campus culture working with the Vice-President People and Culture, to implement strategies grounded in continuous feedback, transparent communication, and measurable improvement.
     
  3. Strengthen and expand ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú’s visibility and reputation by deepening relationships with leaders, partners, and stakeholders at the local, national, and international levels.
     
  4. Lead the ongoing implementation of ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú’s Action Plan in response to the 2023 Rubin Thomlinson report (ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú Review), ensuring clear communication of progress and results across the University community. 
     
  5. Build a high-performing University leadership team, refining organizational structures, strengthening collaboration across portfolios, and aligning leadership capacity with institutional priorities. 
     
  6. Advance ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú’s academic and research priorities working with the Vice-President Academic and Research, focusing on strategic enrolment management, international growth, research excellence, new revenue generation, and enhanced student mental health and overall experience.
     
  7. Accelerate philanthropic growth by working closely with the advancement team on targeted fundraising initiatives that fuel ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú’s long-term priorities. 
     
  8. Enhance ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú’s financial sustainability working with the Vice-President Administration and Finance to strengthen long-term strategies that balance resources, resilience, and strategic investments.
