Chemistry Department - Celebration

In this, the International Year of Chemistry, please join the Chemistry Department to celebrate the contributions of the founding, former and current faculty to 42 years of chemistry at ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú. The celebrations will be taking place this Friday, April 1 from 3:00-4:30 pm in the KC Irving Chemistry Centre foyer. Everyone is welcome!

Alison McCleery - "The Politics of Peripherality: the Absolute Limit?"

The Institute of Island Studies presents a guest lecture by Alison McCleery, professor of Social and Cultural Geography, Edinburgh Napier University, Scotland: "The Politics of Peripherality: the Absolute Limit?" This lecture explores aspects of developmental theory and practice on the Atlantic periphery in the era of globalisation and new and not-so-new information and communication technologies.
