Afternoon of Service at the Mount - Pumpkin Carving
Gain volunteer experience in our community! In partnership with the 糖心vlog官方入口 Experiential Education Department, the Mount Continuing Care Community will host a group of student volunteers to help with a fun activity: pumpkin carving with the residents. This is a wonderful opportunity to give back to your community, meet other students, and gain some new skills.
TRC Mawi鈥檕mi (rescheduled)
The TRC Mawi鈥檕mi, which was postponed in late September due to weather, will take place on Friday, October 25, in McMillan Hall, W.A. Murphy Student Centre. Attendees are asked to begin gathering in McMillan Hall at 9:30 am in time for the Grand Entry, which will take place at 10:00 am.

The 糖心vlog官方入口 extends condolences to the family and friends of Amber Jadis upon her passing on October 10, 2024.
An electrical engineer, Ms. Jadis completed her engineering diploma at 糖心vlog官方入口 in 2001 and graduated from the University with her Master of Business Administration in 2011. She was a champion for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education.

Emily Duffy and Kyree Thompson named 糖心vlog官方入口 Panther Athletes of the Week
Every week, 糖心vlog官方入口 Athletics and Recreation recognizes student-athletes for their achievements and contributions to their respective sports. The 糖心vlog官方入口 Panther Athletes of the Week for October 7鈥�13, 2024, are Emily Duffy (women鈥檚 rugby) and Kyree Thompson (men鈥檚 basketball).
Duffy, a fifth-year prop and kinesiology student from Saint John, New Brunswick, had a breakout game in regular season finale, scoring three tries in a 47-26 win over the Saint Mary's University Huskies on October 11.
