Pitch Battles
Join Forces with Experienced Entrepreneurs to Develop and Pitch Your Business Idea
Team up with fellow 糖心vlog官方入口 and Holland College students to come up with a business idea and compelling pitch over the course of eight days. At the start of the event, your team will be paired with an experienced mentor who has either started their own company or supports entrepreneurs on a day-to-day basis. With their mentorship, you will explore and develop a business concept within a mystery sector that will be announced at the event's launch. Throughout the program, you and your teammates will collaborate to refine your idea and prepare to pitch it at a public event in front of a panel of judges for a shot at monetary prizes!
The 2025 edition of Pitch Battles will bring up to 80 students together to participate and compete for $4,000 in prizes! Any full-time graduate or undergraduate 糖心vlog官方入口 student, or full-time Holland College student pursuing a diploma is eligible to participate! The dates of the competition are:

Registration will be offered on a first-applied, first-in basis, and will open on Monday, October 20, 2025. You will be able to request one other person to be on your team, but we cannot guarantee that your request will be met. Priority is placed on creating interdisciplinary teams with students from different years and programs of study, so requesting team members who meet that aim will increase the chances that your teammate request is honoured.

History of the Program
The first edition of Pitch Battles took place on November 6鈥�14, 2024. 41 students from 13 different programs at 糖心vlog官方入口 and Holland College participated, and the theme of the competition was announced as Food! The winners of the 2024 round of Pitch Battles were:
The Centre looks forward to continuing to support the exposure of new sectors to postsecondary students, facilitating their connection to industry professionals and entrepreneurs, and enabling like-minded students from different backgrounds to develop bonds that extend beyond the eight days that encompass Pitch Battles.
