The Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering (FSDE) at ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú has been granted accreditation for a three-year term from the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board (CEAB) for the Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Design Engineering. This term may be extended to the maximum six-year accreditation period following the submission of a status report at the end of two years.

With human tourists joining us on Prince Edward Island, we also see an increase of furry family members enjoying the campgrounds and beaches.   

The ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú Women’s Soccer program has a gem on its hands. Head coach Lewis Page has recruited local standout Ria Johnston, hoping to build a strong foundation that can help end the team’s seven-year playoff drought.

The ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú Panther family and broader University community were saddened to learn of the passing of ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú Sports Hall of Fame member John (Jack) Kane on July 3, 2022.

Dr. Shannon Murray, a professor of English at the ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú, has been awarded the Christopher Knapper Lifetime Achievement Award by the (STLHE).

As a partner of the 2023 Canada Winter Games, ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú is excited, along with the Canada Winter Games Host Society, to promote the 2023 Canada Winter Games Torch Relay.

On Wednesday, June 22, the ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú had the honour of participating in an interactive online event with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who delivered a live video address from Ukraine to students across Canada. ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú was one of nine universities on the Zoom call with President Zelenskyy.

New research out of the Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) at the ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú suggests a high prevalence of canine leptospirosis regionally within Canada.

The ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú Co-operative Education Program recently recognized its exceptional students and employers with its annual awards, which included a new Arts Co-op Student of the Year Award. Students were nominated by their work-term employers, and employers were nominated by students who worked for them in 2021.

The ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú men’s soccer team is well known for fielding a strong contingent of homegrown talent, and this upcoming season will be no exception with Jacob Tweel, Will Campbell, and Lachlan MacEachern joining the squad.
