The ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú is reaching out to the PEI community for assistance in helping students find housing. 

ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú has recruited Mississauga, Ontario native Patrycia Kozak, who will join her sister Veronica on the ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú Women's Soccer team.

In a message emailed to the campus community on August 9, ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú President Greg Keefe outlined the measures and guidance in place for the 2022 Fall Academic Semester.

In a message to faculty and staff, the ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú Board of Governors disclosed the salary grid for employees who earn over $100,000 per annum, which is in line with public disclosure requirements in some other jurisdictions.

Dr. Josh MacFadyen, Canada Research Chair in Geospatial Humanities at ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú, has launched an interactive digital story map of historical transportation in Charlottetown, covering the days of human- and horse-powered transportation to the coming of the automobile.

ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú will receive $300,000 through ACOA's Canada Community Revitalization Fund to update facilities in the Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre for the 2023 Canada Winter Games. The funding is one of two revitalization projects, totalling $1.3 million, announced by the Honourable Ginette Petitpas Taylor, Minister of Official Languages and Minister Responsible for ACOA, on August 5 at the Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre. The following is a news release issued by ACOA after the announcement:

The campus community was advised today that ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú President and Vice-Chancellor Greg Keefe has written a letter to the Hon. Bloyce Thompson, Minister of Economic Growth and Tourism, in response to the ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú Faculty Association filing for conciliation.

In a message to the ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú community, President Keefe encouraged everyone to participate in Emancipation Day activities on PEI and renew their commitment to learning, reflection, and action.

ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú faculty and staff members have received grants ranging from $2,000 to $6,000 from the open education resource development program at ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú.
