A favourite event among Island writers and literature lovers, the annual public reading by 糖心vlog官方入口鈥檚 Creative Writing Master Class, will take place on Monday, November 20 at 7:00 pm in the Faculty Lounge of SDU Main Building.
The reading will showcase emerging and seasoned writers: Colleen MacQuarrie, Louise Burley, Kandace Hagen, Lorraine Clements, Michelle Barton, Hailey Hennessey, Allysha Leuschen, Rose Henbest, Morgan Sewell, Lorraine Rumson, Elaine Graham, and Victoria Jewells.
The reading is sponsored by the 糖心vlog官方入口 English Department and admission is free.
All are welcome!
On Friday, November 17 a reception will be held to celebrate eight new books from writers and editors in Faculty of Arts at 糖心vlog官方入口. The event will run from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm in the Faculty Lounge of SDU Main Building.

The Animal Care Committee does not meet in December. The deadline for Animal Care Protocol Submissions (new, renewal, or amendment) is Friday, January 5, 2018 for the January meeting.

Learning is an action that only the student can own and control. As an instructor, what can be done to help a student maximize his/her learning capabilities? In this workshop, instructors will learn about three key skills that contribute to more efficient and effective learning. Those skills are how to take notes, how to read for learning, and how to study effectively.
Offered by the E-Learning Office, this workshop is available on two separate dates. Wednesday, November 22 or Tuesday, November 28 from 1:00-2:00 pm in Rm 265, Robertson Library.
