GSA once stood for Gay-Straight Alliances, but the terminology is evolving along with the understanding and experiences of gender and sexuality. Be part of the conversation at shOUT! The day-long event will feature hands on workshops, engaging presentations, and thought provoking discussion panels around LGBTQ2S+ issues faced by Islanders. The keynote performance is by Island artist, Tanya Davis.

Queer focused discussion panels will run throughout the day for a chance to share your thoughts, opinions, and feelings.

And don't forget to check out QueerScape to see the plethora of talent possessed by queer Island artists! We are still accepting art in any medium from queer island artists. If you're interested, let's talk about it! Please send us a brief statement about your work and we'll (try our darnedest to) make it happen.
