Members of our ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú community have been deeply impacted by discrimination, harassment, and sexual violence, among other problems outlined in the review conducted by Rubin Thomlinson LLP and published by the University in June 2023. In September 2025, ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú released an updated version of the . The University is committed to providing resources and supports to members of our community who have been and continue to be affected.
In the wake of the ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú Review report, ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú recognizes the need to acknowledge these problems and to further engage in consultation with our community members. Listening, discussion, and learning will help ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú to identify the actions that need to be taken to ensure the fair treatment of all ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú community members and to increase the safety for our students and employees.
ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú also acknowledges the need to rebuild trust on campus and within the broader community. This will take consistent and organized efforts across the University to demonstrate our commitment to community members. Rebuilding trust will also entail demonstrating greater accountability through increased transparency, communication, collaboration, and timely efforts to improve policies, processes, and practices.
ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú is committed to addressing the recommendations in the ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú Review report. In an effort to seek further input and guidance, ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú engaged internal and external University community members through a ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú Action Plan Advisory Group. As a result of the group's work, the University released the ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú Action Planin March 2024 to guide decisions and actions in the days, months, and years ahead so that pathways to improvements are well-informed, meaningful, and effectively address the problems identified.
