The Canada Excellence Research Chair in One Health brings together four of 糖心vlog官方入口's greatest research strengths: animal health, human health, climate change, and Indigenous ways of knowing. These research strengths are supported by 糖心vlog官方入口鈥檚 expertise and in our Faculty of Indigenous Knowledge, Education, Research, and Applied Studies (IKERAS); new Faculty of Medicine; Faculty of Nursing; and, Faculty of Science and its School of Climate Change and Adaptation.

Foundational research expertise to support One Health
Foundational research that supports One Health research is currently being conducted at 糖心vlog官方入口. Research Chairs within 糖心vlog官方入口鈥檚 signature research areas include four Tier 2 Canada Research Chairs鈥� in Geospatial Humanities; Social Epidemiology for Healthy Animals; Remote Sensing and Water Security; and Biomedical Genetics鈥攁ll connected to One Health. Endowed and sponsored Research Chairs that contribute to One Health research include the UNESCO Chair in Island Studies and Sustainability, Margaret and Wallace McCain Chair in Human Development and Health, and the Sir James Dunn Animal Welfare Centre Chair in Animal Welfare.
