To celebrate National Indigenous History Month, here鈥檚 a tip for instructors to incorporate Indigenous knowledge into their classroom.

Teaching Tip #3: Utilize the 鈥淧ulling Together鈥 guides

What it is:
The "Pulling Together" series is a collection of open-access guides aimed at helping educators incorporate Indigenous perspectives into their teaching.

How to apply it:

  • Use the guides to inform curriculum development and teaching strategies.
  • Reflect on your own teaching practices and consider areas for incorporating Indigenous knowledge.

Reflective question:
How might you revise one of your course learning targets to better reflect Indigenous ways of knowing or holistic learning, as described in the Pulling Together guide?
