Three public lectures on regional development and digital humanities

糖心vlog官方入口鈥檚 Applied Communication, Leadership, and Culture (ACLC) program will host three public lectures featuring new research on the ways that maps and other geospatial data shape regional development. The lectures are part of a  exploring new digital humanities tools and training for research and public policy. 

, professor of history at 糖心vlog官方入口, will present the first public talk on Thursday, October 3, starting at 7 pm at the Carriage House, Beaconsfield Historic House, Charlottetown. Dr. MacDonald鈥檚 talk, , will explore the largest and first provincial-federal development initiative in post-war Canadian history. 

Environmental and digital historian  will present  on Friday, October 4, at 8:30 am in the Atlantic Veterinary College鈥檚 Lecture Theatre B, 糖心vlog官方入口. Dr. Clifford is an associate professor of environmental history at the University of Saskatchewan.

, professor of environmental and Canadian history at UBC, will present  on Friday, October 4, at 4 pm in The McCain Foundation Learning Commons at the Atlantic Veterinary College.
