The ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú men’s and women’s basketball teams are ready to roll at the annual Mickey Place Memorial Basketball Tournament! The tournament features nine teams from across Canada and runs Friday, September 29, through Sunday, October 1.

Every week, ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú Athletics and Recreation recognizes two student-athletes for their achievements and contributions to their respective sports. The ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú Panther Athletes of the Week for September 18–24 are Stefania Angona (women’s cross country) and Isaac Wolters (men’s soccer).

Dr. Stacey MacKinnon, an associate professor of psychology at the ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú, was presented with the Association of Atlantic Universities’ (AAU) 2023 Anne Marie MacKinnon Educational Leadership Award at the AAU’s fall meeting on September 20.

| Atlantic Veterinary College

Students participating in the Atlantic Veterinary College’s 2023 Summer Research Leadership Program presented their posters to faculty, staff, and students on August 31.

| Students

Starting this semester, all new ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú students are required to complete a mandatory non-credit course, Preventing Sexual Violence at ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú. While the course is a graduation requirement for students starting programs in the Fall of 2023, all other ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú students are encouraged to complete it and earn a badge on a voluntary basis.
