The Bridge Effect: Critical Reflections in the Age of Technological Solutionism, a book co-edited by Drs. Laurie Brinklow and Andrew Jennings, will be launched at the Institute of Island Studies’ Island Lecture Series presentation on February 27. 

Eleven ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering (FSDE) teams, composed of a total of 41 students, competed at the 2024 Atlantic Engineering Competition (AEC), hosted at University of New Brunswick Fredericton from January 19–21, 2024, by the Atlantic Council of Engineering Students.

Dr. Callum Beck, a sessional instructor in religious studies at the ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú, has been awarded a $7,000 SSHRC Exchange Publication Award for his monograph, The Belfast Riot of 1847.

The ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú congratulates the 95 student-athletes who earned U SPORTS Academic All-Canadian status for the 2022–2023 season. This number represents 49.5 per cent of ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú’s 192 varsity student-athletes.
