After providing health care to students at the ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú for the past 30 years, Dr. David Reid has retired from the ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú Health and Wellness Centre. Dr. Reid began practising at the health centre at ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú in 1991, making him one of the longest serving doctors on the campus. 

The last time we saw the ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú’s women’s hockey team, they were among the best teams in the country getting ready to battle for a national medal following a thrilling and emotional playoff run.

Every week, ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú Athletics and Recreation recognizes two student-athletes for their achievements and dedication to their respective sports.

The ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú Winter’s Tales Author Series resumes October 7 with the launch of a memoir from one of PEI’s most celebrated and beloved poets and teachers,  Dr. Richard Lemm, a professor in the ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú Department of English.

The ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú Panthers have one of the busiest weekends of the season coming up, hosting AUS action for soccer, plus exhibition games in hockey and basketball.

The Institute of Island Studies (IIS) at ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú is embarking on a four-year project to better understand and assess the well-being and quality-of-life of Islanders.

Tyffanie Bordage and Max VanWiechen are the ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú Panther Subway Athletes of the Week for September 20 to 26.

The Maria S. Merian, one of the largest and most advanced research ships in the world, recently arrived in the Gulf of St. Lawrence for a survey of potential sources of undersea groundwater for Prince Edward Island.

Dr. Trevor Jain has been awarded the 2021 John McCrae Memorial Medal, which recognizes current or former clinical health services personnel of the Canadian Armed Forces for exemplary service.

Join us for three days of activities during the first Concussion Awareness Week, September 27 to 29. Concussion Awareness week is organized by the ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú Concussion Awareness Program (CAP), in collaboration with the PEI Department of Health and Wellness.

Concussion Awareness Week was established in January 2021 to increase concussion awareness by providing information and encouraging action across Canada.
