Lecture series about renowned PEI author L.M. Montgomery available on Audible

A six-lecture audio series titled by Dr. Kate Scarth, Chair of L.M. Montgomery Studies, and Applied Communication, Leadership, and Culture, is now available through The Great Courses on Audible.

Scarth opens the series with an introductory lecture and then in the next five, explores key topics that illuminate Montgomery鈥檚 life, works, and legacy: family, place, friendship, creativity, and literature.

Listeners will explore the impact that the author鈥檚 personal experiences had on her writing and get a clearer picture of how life shapes鈥攁nd is shaped by鈥攍iterature. They will discover why Montgomery鈥檚 novels mattered in her own time鈥攁nd still matter today鈥攁nd better understand the lasting and international influence of her life and her work across the generations.
