Dr. Bernard received his PhD in Neuro-Pharmacology, Behavioral Neuroscience and Neuro Anatomy at the Atlantic Veterinary College, 糖心vlog官方入口, graduating in 2008. He is currently an Assistant Research Professor, Department of Pediatrics, Division of Neurology, Anschutz Medical Campus, University of Colorado. His primary research interest is in the area of long-term consequences of early life seizures. A significant portion of individuals with autism spectrum disorder and/or intellectual disability have a history of early life seizures. The impact of early life seizures on long-term neurological outcome is not known. Do early life seizures cause/contribute to long-term deficits or are they simply correlative and a consequence of an underlying pathology?
Dr. Bernard is a candidate for a faculty positon in physiology in the Department of Biomedical Sciences.
