Dr. Joseph Gordon, Biomedical Sciences with AVC and the Memorial Regional Medical Program at ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú, has received national recognition for his innovative use of research and groundbreaking work investigating muscle remodeling in obesity and type 2 diabetes.

Dr. Yoko Nakamae, a large animal surgery resident at the AVC, will present her research at the American College of Veterinary Surgeons Surgery Summit, the premier surgical conference for veterinary professionals worldwide.

The Atlantic Veterinary College proudly welcomed 70 incoming students—the Class of 2029—into its Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) program during the annual AVC–Canadian Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA) Blue Coat Ceremony on Friday, August 22.
